Common questions

Is PicShots free for wedding photo sharing?

Yes for small weddings: free for 10 guests, 5 shots each. Larger guest lists pay a one-time fee by guest count — not a subscription. Hosts download all photos as a ZIP on every plan.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan your QR or tap your link, type their name, and start shooting photos in the mobile browser. There is nothing to install on either side. PicShots is photos only.

Can we hide uploads from other guests during the wedding?

Yes. Keep the gallery hidden during the day so guests only see their own photos. You can reveal the shared gallery any time — during the reception or weeks later.

What if someone uploads a photo we don't want public?

You can preview and delete any photo from the host dashboard before guests ever see the gallery. Guests can also delete their own uploads from the same phone.

Will it interfere with our photographer or videographer?

No. PicShots runs in guests' browsers and uses no extra gear at the venue. Most couples use it alongside their photographer, not instead of one.

Will guests' phones run out of storage?

No. Photos upload to your shared gallery, not to their camera roll. Their phone storage is untouched.

How long are wedding photos kept?

Photos stay in your gallery for the hosting window on your plan: 90 days on Free (14 days to upload), then 6–24 months on paid plans. Download the ZIP at any point for a local backup.
